Task : You must now pitch your idea for the opening of your thriller to your potential target audience. Each group should attempt to put together a story outline of their film. The aim is to create the necessary suspense and enigma within a set of conventions that are clearly those of the thriller genre. Ideally, it should also allow you opportunities to edit, use the camera and use post production creatively as well in order to access the higher bands of the mark scheme.
Once you have three pitches you can then film your focus group's response. We will think about this later, for now, your job is to come up with three strong pitches per group. Hopefully, your research on other thrillers will prove useful.
I have added two examples of pitches below. Be aware that they're not perfect and ideally you will use terminology better.
For your own pitch you can look at my recommendations from the powerpoint.
